Nicola’s dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 55. While dealing with the devastating diagnosis and an uncertain future, her Dad discovered he was eligible to receive an income protection pay out. That discovery changed the course of his life and hers. She said goodbye to her 10 year career in law and committed to helping people plan for a financially secure future, and is driven to create hope in times of challenge through financial empowerment. Inspired to assist the over 25,600 Australian’s living with MS, Nicola’s involvement in fundraising and advocacy saw her complete a five-day walk across The Great Wall of China and cycled 50km across Melbourne to raise money. She also provides pro bono financial advice to individuals and families going through a tough time as a member and board director of the Pro Bono Financial Advice Network (PFAN).
