You have a fear of putting yourself out there because you're at risk of believing the opinions others have of you.
This is where you’re most vulnerable because you haven’t yet strengthened the opinions you have of yourself.
So - be honest - what it is that you really believe of yourself?
Get crystal clear.
Correct these beliefs if you need to, build on them, strengthen them and stand by them so much so, that not even praise nor criticism will sway them.
Then connect back to why you're here and get out there.
Share your truth.
Release that video.
Put that photo up.
Write that blog.
Get started on that book.
Say yes to that speaking gig.
Go for that media interview.
And remember this - even the kindest and generous people are disliked.
Even the most intelligent, capable and brilliant minds are scrutinised.
No matter who you are or what you do, there will be people that won’t “get you”, connect with you or like you.
You have to be OK with that if you are putting yourself out there.
You have to know that you are not for everyone.
Give your heart and soul to what you do and who you do it for anyway and find solace in the knowing that you are doing the best you can.
